Teacher's Pet murder trial: Teen claims she was 'sex slave' for man who 'killed wife'
A schoolgirl who was moved into her teacher's family home has told a court she was treated like a sex slave and feared for her life.
Joanne Curtis appeared at the Supreme Court in Sydney, Australia, giving evidence against her former teacher Chris Dawson, whom she went on to marry and have a child with.
Dawson is accused of murdering his first wife Lynette Dawson to enable him to have an unfettered relationship with the then-16-year-old schoolgirl he had become infatuated with, according to prosecutors.
Dawson, now 73, is accused of killing his wife more than 40 years ago.
He says she simply left him, their two young daughters and their home.
Lynette has never contacted her family or friends since and two coroners have ruled that a known person, Dawson, is responsible for her death.
